To become a Company Secretary (CS), you have to take theCSEET exam. If you’ve finished your 10+2 schooling, you’re eligible for this course. The exam has three levels: the foundation course, the executive course, and the professional course.
- CS Executive Exam: You must have passed both modules of the CS Executive exams to be eligible.
- Minimum Passing Score: To qualify for the CS Executive exam, you should score at least 40% in each subject and achieve an overall score of 50%. These are the current passing standards set by ICSI.

To register for the CS Professional Course, log in to the ICSI portal using the registration number and password you received during your CSEET/CS Foundation/Executive registration. Go to the ‘Students’ section, select ‘My Account,’ and then click on the ‘Payment Requests’ tab. Here, choose the ‘Professional Registration’ option and follow these steps:
- Select ‘Professional Registration’ under the “Payment Request” option.
- Upload the passing mark sheets for both modules of the CS Executive Program.
- Make the payment of Rs. 12,000/- via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
After completing these steps, you’ll be successfully enrolled in the CS Professional Program.
