Overview of the CSEET Course

The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is the mandatory qualifying entrance examination for admission to the CS Executive Programme, conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). It is the first and most important step for any student who wants to become a Company Secretary in India after Class 12.

CSEET tests candidates on Business Communication, Fundamentals of Accounting, Economic & Business Environment, and Business Laws & Management. From June 2026, the exam will be held 3 times a year. Passing CSEET qualifies you to register for the CS Executive Programme.

How to register with ICSI?

What is the CSEET Registration Fee in 2026?

The CSEET registration fee is now ₹7,500 (includes SIP + online classes). A separate exam fee of ₹1,500 is paid at the time of session enrollment. Note: registration and enrollment are two separate steps in 2026.

Eligibility Check: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for the CSEET. You must have completed your 10+2 (senior secondary examination) from a recognized board.

Online Registration: Look for the CSEET registration section and click on the provided link to start the online registration process.
Fill Out the Application Form: Complete the online application form with accurate personal and educational details.
Upload Documents: Prepare and upload the required documents, such as your educational certificates and identity proof, as specified by ICSI.
Payment of Fees: Pay the registration fee through the online payment options available on the ICSI website.
Complete Student Induction Programme (SIP) — Mandatory SIP is a new mandatory requirement from 2026. You cannot enroll for the exam without completing SIP first. .
Submit Your Application: Review all the information provided and submit your application.
Confirmation Email: After submission, you will receive a confirmation email. Keep this for your records, as it contains important information regarding your registration.
Await Further Instructions: Check your email regularly for updates on your registration status and any further instructions from ICSI regarding the CSEET exam.
