ABOUT CA COURSE:
CA FOUNDATION COURSE
Foundation Course is the entry level for Chartered Accountancy Course.
Eligibility
Students after passing class Xth examination can register for Foundation Course.
Students can appear in the Foundation Examination –
(i) After appearing in the senior secondary (10+2) examination
(ii) After completing 4 months’ study period from the date of registration in order to be eligible to appear in the Foundation Examination. Students registered on or before 1st January / 1st July will be eligible to appear in May/November examination every year, as the case may be.
Foundation Examinations are held twice a year in the months of May and November.

Paper-1: Principles and Practice of Accounting (100 Marks)
Paper-2: Business Law & Business Correspondence and Reporting (100 Marks)
Section A: Business Law (60 Marks)
Section B: Business Correspondence and Reporting (40 Marks)
Paper-3: Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning & Statistics (100 Marks)
Part I: Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning (60 Marks)

Paper-3 and Paper-4 are objective type papers with negative marking.
Passing criteria in Foundation Examination
A Foundation Course candidate shall be declared to have passed the examination if he/ she obtains at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all the papers, subject to the principle of negative marking.
CA INTERMEDIATE
Students of Intermediate Course, who have registered through Foundation Course route or Intermediate level examination passed students of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India or The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, are required to undergo eight months study course before appearing for the first time in the Intermediate Examination.
Candidates who are Graduates/ Post Graduates in Commerce 55% of the total marks or other than those falling under Commerce stream having secured in aggregate a minimum of 60% of the total marks are eligible for straight away registration to Intermediate Course and undergo ICITSS. They can register for practical training after completing ICITSS they are eligible to appear in the Intermediate Examination after completion of nine months of practical training.
Students who are pursuing the Final year Graduation Course can also register for the Intermediate Course on provisional basis.

CA FINAL
Students after qualifying both the groups of Intermediate Examination are eligible to register for Final Course and would be allowed to appear in Final Examination during last six months of practical training after successful completion of Four Weeks Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS).

Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS)
Course on Information Technology (ICITSS)
As a part of the New Scheme of Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) consisting Course on Information Technology for Chartered Accountancy Course, a student has to mandatorily complete the Course on Information Technology before commencement of Practical Training.

Four Weeks Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS)
Course on Advanced Information Technology (AICITSS)
Eligibility
As a part of the New Scheme of Four Weeks Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology Training and Soft Skills (AICITSS) for Chartered Accountancy Course, a student undergoing practical training shall be required to do AICITSS during the last 2 years of practical training but to complete the same before being eligible to appear in the Final Examination.
Duration
The classes are scheduled for minimum 6 hours per day, in 15 working days.
Fees
The fee shall be Rs. 7500 (Seven Thousand Five Hundred only) per student on non-residential basis, inclusive of course material and tea/refreshment.
AICITSS (MCS Course)
The student registered under the revised scheme or converted under the Revised scheme shall be undergoing the course during the last two years of Practical training but compulsory before appearing for the final examination.
Duration
The duration of the course is 15 days’ full time.
Fees
The fees shall not exceed Rs.7000/- per student on non-residential basis inclusive of course, study material, tea/refreshment.
