- Cleared the 10+2 exams and the CMA Foundation Course, OR
- Completed a degree from a recognized university (except Fine Arts), OR
- Be an engineering student who has completed the 2nd year/semester IV, OR
- Passed the Foundation (Entry Level) Part I of the CAT Course from ICAI.

Yes, you can directly apply for the CMA Intermediate course if you are a graduate in any stream (except Fine Arts). Otherwise, students must first complete the CMA Foundation course before registering for CMA Inter.
