A focused 30-day plan can help you revise the CSEET syllabus, practise exam-style questions and identify topics that need more attention. For February 2027, prepare using the restructured CSEET syllabus and official study resources. ICSI’s academic portal provides study material, sample question papers and guideline answers for the restructured exam.
Know the CSEET Exam Pattern First
The restructured CSEET has four papers. Business Communication, Fundamentals of Accounting, and Economic and Business Environment are subjective papers of 100 marks each, with a duration of three hours per paper. Business Laws and Management is an OMR-based paper of 100 marks: 60 marks for Business Laws and 40 for Business Management. Its duration is two hours. ICSI also states that candidates receive 15 minutes of reading time for each paper.
Use these details to make your practice sessions resemble the exam. Check ICSI’s February 2027 timetable and candidate instructions for session-specific information.

Before You Start Your 30-Day Plan
Download the latest syllabus and study material from ICSI. Keep the official sample papers and guideline answers ready for practice and review. The sample-paper page includes Set 1 and Set 2 for the restructured CSEET.
If you are preparing at the last minute, first check that your registration and exam-enrolment requirements are complete. ICSI lists 31 October 2026 as the February 2027 session registration deadline; exam enrolment is a separate step with its own schedule. Confirm current details directly on the ICSI website.
30-Day CSEET Preparation Plan
Adjust the daily study time to your schedule. Try to include revision, question practice and a short review of mistakes each day.
Days 1–7: Review the Syllabus and Find Gaps
Start with a quick diagnostic. Attempt a section or selected questions from each paper without checking notes. This gives you a starting point; it is not a prediction of your final result.
Then divide the syllabus into topics you know well, topics that need revision and topics you have not covered properly. Use the official study material as your main reference. Give extra time to weaker areas, while keeping a short daily revision slot for stronger topics.
Days 8–14: Build Subject Knowledge
Work through the syllabus in focused blocks. Rotate between papers so that no subject is left untouched for several days.
For example, you could study one main subject in the morning, a second in the afternoon and use a shorter evening session for revision or question practice. In Accounting, practise working through problems on paper. For Business Communication, practise writing answers. For Economic and Business Environment, revise concepts and practise explaining them clearly. For Business Laws and Management, review the syllabus topics and answer objective questions.
Days 15–21: Practise Questions and Timed Sections
Shift more time towards question practice. Attempt timed sections from the official sample papers. Write answers for the three subjective papers, and practise marking answers for the OMR-based paper.
After each session, check your work against the guideline answers where available. Add missed concepts, careless errors and time-management issues to an error log. Use that log to choose what you revise the next day.
Days 22–26: Attempt Full-Paper Mocks
Attempt each paper in a single sitting, using its exam duration and format. For subjective papers, practise writing complete answers under timed conditions. For Business Laws and Management, practise OMR-style questions and follow the answer-sheet instructions carefully.
Review each attempt after you finish. Identify what you need to revise, but avoid spending so long analysing a paper that you have no time left to act on the feedback.
Days 27–30: Revise and Prepare for Exam Day
Use your error log and marked syllabus to guide final revision. Revisit important concepts, practise a few questions in your weaker areas and review the exam instructions.
Avoid filling the final days with unfamiliar materials. Keep your routine manageable, sleep well and check the official timetable and instructions before the exam.
A Simple Daily Routine
A repeatable routine can make the 30-day plan easier to follow:
- Study: Review a topic using the official material.
- Practise: Answer questions or write a timed section.
- Review: Check your answers and record mistakes.
- Recall: Revisit a topic from an earlier study session.
The amount of time you spend on each step can vary. The key is to include all four papers across your weekly plan and set aside time to review practice attempts.

Common CSEET Preparation Mistakes to Avoid
- Using outdated materials: Check that your syllabus and sample papers match the restructured CSEET.
- Only reading, without writing: Practise written answers for the subjective papers.
- Skipping answer review: A mock is most useful when you review what went wrong and revise accordingly.
- Neglecting OMR practice: Get familiar with the paper’s format and follow the official instructions.
- Ignoring exam updates: Check ICSI announcements and the February 2027 timetable for current details.
