A CSEET mock test helps you practise the current exam format, manage your time and spot topics that need more work. For the February 2027 session, use ICSI’s restructured CSEET syllabus and sample papers. The restructured exam has been in effect since June 2026; older papers based on the remote-proctored format may not match the current pattern.

What Is the CSEET Exam Pattern for February 2027?
ICSI’s restructured CSEET has four papers. Three are subjective; Business Laws and Management is OMR-based.
| Paper | Marks | Format | Duration |
| Business Communication | 100 | Subjective | 3 hours |
| Fundamentals of Accounting | 100 | Subjective | 3 hours |
| Economic and Business Environment | 100 | Subjective | 3 hours |
| Business Laws and Management | 100 (Laws: 60; Management: 40) | OMR-based | 2 hours |
The durations above are exam durations. ICSI’s FAQ also states that candidates receive 15 minutes of question-paper reading time. Check the February 2027 timetable and instructions for your specific exam dates and session details. ICSI has published the session timetable on its website.
Where Can You Find CSEET Sample Papers?
Start with ICSI’s official CSEET academic resources. They include the restructured syllabus, study material, sample question papers and guideline answers. ICSI provides restructured sample papers in Set 1 and Set 2. Use these to build timed practice attempts, then compare your completed answers with the guideline answers.
Before starting, check that the paper matches the restructured syllabus. A paper from the old remote-proctored pattern may not reflect the current mix of subjective and OMR papers.
How to Practise With a CSEET Mock Test
1. Take a Diagnostic Test
Choose one official sample paper and attempt it under timed conditions. Don’t pause to check notes or look up answers. The point is to see where you stand before you begin focused revision.
After the attempt, note:
- Questions you left unanswered
- Topics where you lost marks
- Whether you finished on time
- Mistakes caused by misunderstanding, recall or calculation
2. Practise Each Paper in Its Actual Format
For the three subjective papers, write your answers. Practising only by reading questions or thinking through answers won’t prepare you to organise and complete written responses within the allotted time.
For Business Laws and Management, practise with OMR-style questions. Read the instructions carefully and take care when marking your answer sheet. ICSI’s official sample papers and exam guidance are the best reference for the paper format.
3. Review Your Answers and Keep an Error Log
Use ICSI’s guideline answers to review your work. Record the topic, the mistake and what you’ll do differently next time. For example, you may have known a concept but missed a key point in your written answer, or chosen an incorrect option because you read the question too quickly.
Reviewing mistakes turns each mock into a revision tool. Revisit the topics in your error log before attempting another paper.
A Simple Revision Plan for February 2027
Use this four-stage plan alongside your syllabus and study material:
- Start with a diagnostic: Attempt one sample paper to identify your weaker areas.
- Revise by topic: Work through the official study material and practise short question sets for each paper.
- Attempt full-paper mocks: Use the official Set 1 and Set 2 papers where available. Complete each paper in one timed sitting, using the correct format.
- Review and refresh: Check guideline answers, revisit your error log and revise key concepts. In the final days, focus on areas you have already studied rather than trying to cover everything from scratch.
Set your weekly mock schedule based on the time you have available. Leave enough time after each attempt to review it properly.

How Many CSEET Mock Tests Should You Attempt?
There’s no single number that suits every student. Aim to practise all four papers in the current format, and leave time to review each attempt. Two carefully reviewed attempts can teach you more than several papers completed without checking your mistakes.
